DENVER (CBS4) – A Manual High School graduate in 1995 class hopes a book he created will help seniors complete the next stage of their lives. Graham Williams, founder of Impart, asked influential local celebrities to provide vital advice on living a graduation book given to all senior citizens at DPS High School.

Williams says the goal of the book is to help seniors feel seen, supported, and celebrated, given all of the challenges they have faced due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Former Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said the only thing he would tell his younger self is to face adversity. CBS4 health specialist Kathy Walsh was asked to contribute to the book.

Walsh gave wise advice on the importance of remembering “ACE,” which means that attitude changes everything.

“It’s not always easy, but a positive attitude changes your life for the better,” she said.

Missy Franklin, the hip-hop duo Tag Team, and The Bachelor’s Ben Higgins are some of the other contributors.

“When people receive these, they feel a lot of love in their community, and second, they take these lessons from other people’s lives and put them in the back of their minds for the moment they are in. Their own experiences pick up and maybe their transitions are something easier and more successful, ”said Williams.
