DENVER (CBS4) – The Bike MS Colorado will be a one-day personal ride on June 26, 2021. It begins and ends at Front Range Community College in Westminster. There will be two route options, one 34 miles and the other 78 miles.
“The drive itself will be right here in beautiful Colorado, so it will be a scenic drive with breathtaking views of the mountains along the Front Range,” Robyn Moore, president of the Colorado / Wyoming Chapter of the National MS Society told CBSN Denver. “We are very happy to be personal this year. The event experience will be a little different, however. “
The National MS Society introduced new safety protocols after the pandemic. The ride complies with all CDC, state, city, and other local health codes to ensure the safety of staff, volunteers, and all drivers. There will be health checks. Food stations are offered for self-service and the dishes are individually packaged. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the event, and attendees must wear a mask.
“The funds raised by Bike MS Colorado this year will go directly to the National MS Society’s critical programs and services to serve those affected by MS. It will also fund research to end MS forever, ”said Moore.
