With something up close in the Dove Valley, the Broncos are in and around a lot of interesting news.

They hired Kelly Kleine as the senior executive in the NFL’s scouting arena.

They made big waves by cutting both Ja’Wuan James and DaeSean Hamilton after serious injuries both players sustained while working outside of team facilities.

And let’s not forget for a second that the biggest buzz about the Aaron Rodgers saga of 2021 is that they are the front runner for landing when he actually forces his way out of Green Bay.

I have to wonder how much this craze will affect the Broncos’ near-term future. With a product as bad as they’ve launched in the past few years, I’d think a young team like her would do better with a quiet off-season and fewer distractions. With the hustle and bustle of the NFLPA and the injuries of two Broncos players in the spotlight, I hope the players will continue to focus on the process, not the excitement.
