  • Conceive and organize project design ideas and information using SketchUp and Revit based on preliminary concepts, sketches, specification sheets and other data to create drafts, working drawings, schedules, details and notes
  • Coordinate with all external parties involved in the project and integrate information into current and future project documents
  • Support with and / or development of project goals and plan layouts; Prepare information on design, materials and color
  • Working closely with the project team to organize, assemble and coordinate individual drawings as needed into a cohesive set of schematic documents, possibly leading the work of junior team members
  • Revise and modify existing documents (red lines / markups) as required
  • Working with the project team to coordinate design documents and requests for submission to owners, contractors, vendors and the competent authority (AHJ) for plan review as needed
  • Research, observe and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources in order to stay up to date on economic or legal issues related to spatial planning regulations, building regulations and / or environmental regulations
  • Assistance with other tasks as required (e.g. on-site visits, inventories, code research, etc.)
  • Acquire operational knowledge of building regulations and the implementation level of claim processes and criteria (territorial regulations and design guidelines for the local area)

You: Requirements

  • Architectural studies at an accredited institution or comparable experience
  • 6-10 years of experience in a professional office environment, including apartment buildings, Type V, II and III project types and phases
  • Confident handling of Sketchup and Revit, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office
  • Good listening, oral / verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills are required
  • Strong reading skills to understand the content of work-related documents
  • Only candidates with an existing work permit
