DENVER (CBS4) – Denver investigators believe Gregory Stapleton, the suspect wanted in a fatal knife stab near a church in Denver, may have traveled to Texas. Stapleton is accused of killing Richard Ford near lunch break at St. Elizabeth’s Church on September 8th. The church is located on the Auraria campus in downtown Denver.
Stapleton is 37 and known as Temporary. He is wanted for first-degree murder and is considered armed and dangerous. Detectives said there is a chance he traveled to the Houston area.
