In signs of better times, Denver will host two major country concerts this fall. Dan + Shay announced a stop at Ball Arena and the Zac Brown Band added two stops at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater. American musician Shakey Graves also announced an appointment at the Red Rocks Amphitheater and electronic musician Porter Robinson announced an appointment at the Mission Ballroom.
The former pop / country duo, Dan + Shay will meet at the Ball Arena on October 24th as part of “The (Arena) Tour”. The Ball Arena Show is a confirmation that the band’s previously scheduled dates will continue as planned, having initially been postponed following the COVID-19 pandemic. On the Denver date, The Band CAMINO and three-time Grammy-nominated singer / songwriter Ingrid Andress join the group. All tickets for the original show will be recognized for the new date.
The Zac Brown Band, the popular country / rock band, will return to Denver at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater on two evenings September 17th and 18th. Like Dan + Shay, the Zac Brown Band had derailed their plans to meet Denver in 2020, and the upcoming date is a welcome one for the group that visits Denver frequently. The last time the group played in Colorado, it was a rare getaway to Coors Field that drew tens of thousands of fans.
Porter Robinson announced an appointment at the Mission Ballroom on November 6th shortly after his first album in seven years, Nurture. Porter Robinson’s appearance is one of only a handful of new shows announced at the newest venue in Denver since the pandemic closed its doors. Apart from DJ sets, the last time Porter Robinson was in Denver for a live set was at the Fillmore Auditorium alongside Madeon on their co-headlining tour “Shelter Tour”.
Finally, Shakey Graves, the genre-divisive Americana musician who is no stranger to Mile High City, will make his big comeback and hit the Red Rocks Amphitheater with Lucy Dacus on June 23rd. The upcoming date will support this year’s Roll the Bones X and a secret new project the musician raved about on social media.
“I was locked up in my lab to work with some new people on a special new project and I’m going on tour about it,” the musician wrote after the announcement.
Whatever he has up his sleeve, rest assured, fans will experience something special in June.
Tickets for the Zac Brown Band and Shakey Graves will be on sale on the AXS and Shakey Graves website at 12pm and 10am respectively this Friday, May 14th. Tickets for Porter Robinson will be available through AXS starting Friday, May 14th, 10am. Tickets for Dan + Shay are available now through Ticketmaster.
