A mighty cold front passed through Colorado this morning, and now the snow has settled in for the night. We expect it to snow heavily early Tuesday morning, but it should clear in time for the morning commute.

Even when the snow is gone, we will have an icy drive to work as the night lows will fall in the teens. We expect a bitter morning on the east side of Colorado.

For the east side of the state, we’re under a winter weather report through Tuesday 3:00 a.m. The I-25 corridor could see 3 to 6 inches of snow, with the eastern plains being a little less likely.

We were able to see a lot more for the southern foothills and heights of the Larimer district.

We could see a little sunshine sometimes on Tuesday after the snow cleared. Our temperatures remain very cold again on Tuesday and Wednesday. Wednesday also brings the chance for more snow. This round seems a lot easier.

Rain is possible on Thursday and Friday before we finally dry out on Saturday in warmer temperatures.
