DENVER (CBS4)– The Colorado Rockies get fans to the Coors Field bleachers this season. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment notified CBS4’s Dillon Thomas the Rockies that he had requested an exemption.

The derogation was granted until some adjustments were made to the Rockies plans.

This marks the first time the Rockies have received approval to have fans in the stands since the pandemic began in 2020 and is the only team to have received approval in the state so far this year.

The Colorado Rockies play the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Home Opener on April 1st at Coors Field.
