DENVER (CBS4) – Kroenke Sports & Entertainment officials say fans cannot get into the Ball Arena until they receive a departure from the city and county of Denver. This is not possible, however, as Denver is still subject to the Yellow Level restrictions that prohibit variation for indoor venues.
“KSE and CDPHE have continued their ongoing discussions about a deviation request for fans in the Ball Arena for this basketball and hockey season and also for fans at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park for the upcoming football season,” said a statement from KSE on Saturday.
KSE says the health and safety of the fans, staff and athletes are vital to them and that they look forward to the day when fans can return at the right time.
Coors Field officials recently announced that they would be allowed 25% capacity at 2021 games (12,500 people).
