DENVER (KDVR) – A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the Front Range and Metro Denver each afternoon through the end of the week. Most places won’t see rain, but sometimes gusty winds can occur with passing clouds.

A slow storm system will roll across Colorado from late Saturday through Monday. It will generate more storms late Saturday with potentially heavy rain in places.

Additional rain showers and some thunderstorms are possible again on Sunday. The best chance of widespread rain is from Sunday evening to early Memorial Day. Temperatures will be in the cooler 60s on both days. Some churches may not come out of their 50s on Monday. Showers are still possible until late on vacation. So, plan on doing outdoor activities indoors.

Isolated storms are still possible on Tuesday, but with much less coverage. A drying trend will appear for the remainder of the next week, allowing temperatures to return to the 70s.
