DENVER (CBS4) – Denver police tentatively said three suspects had broken into a house in South Madison near Colorado Boulevard and Yale Avenue. They also said that a fourth suspect was waiting in a vehicle outside the house.

On Sunday afternoon, police told CBS4 they did not know exactly how many suspects were involved.

The police responded to the house around 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Investigators say the suspects asked everyone to get on the floor and a person in the house then pulled out a gun.

Police say the suspects pulled out a rifle and a shooting ensued. Two people were injured; One person sustained a head injury that investigators say is not life threatening.
