JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – At least 36 vehicles had flat tires on Interstate 70 heading west near Lookout Mountain on Monday. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says it appears debris on the road is causing it.
The CSP Golden Office confirmed it was a box of screws and asked the public if anyone had lost the box to call shipping.
The problem extending between mile markers 237 and 255 is reported by CSP to CBS4.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is in the area to clear the road while the sheriff’s deputies help change tires and call tow trucks.
No injuries have been reported, according to the CSP.
