DENVER (KDVR) – The City of Denver is paying a Denver firefighter $ 100,000 in severance payment to settle a discrimination lawsuit against the Denver Fire Department.
The settlement was passed by the city council on May 24th.
The firefighter found a secret camera in her fire station bedroom in April 2019. She recorded how she changed.

Daniel Felsner, a former Denver Fire Lieutenant, was convicted of invasion of privacy and tampering with evidence related to the case.
Felsner was convicted up to two years of probation and therapy. He withdrew after the camera was discovered.
Denver Fire now requires additional sexual harassment training and has taken further steps to ensure the safety of female firefighters following multiple allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination.
