DENVER – Denver-based Fentress Architects is one of five companies competing to develop a brand new terminal at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

Fentress is known for a number of Denver attractions, including Denver International Airport, Broncos Stadium on Mile High, and Broadway 1999. The latter is a high-rise office building that surrounds a Catholic church.

The new part of O’Hare is known as the “global terminal and hall”. It is estimated to cost $ 8.5 billion.

Fentress competes against a number of internationally renowned architecture firms, including Santiago Calatrava, Norman Foster and Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.

O’Hare is running an online poll through Wednesday evening, where people can give their feedback and vote for their favorite design.
