Typically this time of year, Denver Harvest Week brought together a number of local restaurants and farms to host a range of community dinners made from Colorado’s products.

Instead, restaurants across town partake in a secluded Harvest Week starting Wednesday through October 4, where each kitchen prepares their own seasonal dish and cocktail to eat or take away, and receive $ 1 to $ 2 from each sale is donated to a local food charity.

Non-profit organizations EatDenver and The GrowHaus organize and benefit from Harvest Week. EatDenver is a network of 250+ independent restaurants, while The GrowHaus is a food and educational resource in the Elyria-Swansea and Globeville neighborhoods.

To make a contribution this year, Denverites and visitors can visit or order from participating restaurants during the 12-day event. When you arrive, find the specials for harvest week or select your favorites in advance.
